THE VOW is a pretty terrific film. More drama than romance, THE VOW actually delves quite deep into what makes us who we are and what attracts us to each other. After seeing a slate of indie films that were all quite sensational, I was surprised by the elegance and open-endedness of this film.
McAdams and Tatum share genuine chemistry which really sets the film apart from all the romances that Hollywood churns out these days. I'm actually quite surprised to be writing this very positive review for THE VOW but isn't that what movies should be all about? Surprise.
