Based on true events.
Perhaps I am too 'Hollywood' but I would have liked a happy ending.
At least Nicholas Sparks adaptations do end on an emotional high (almost happy) and because this didn't you realise it was not from Nicholas Sparks. Shame.
It was marketed that way.
