Review of The Voices (2014) by Hailey S — 24 Apr 2015
Entertaining because of its weirdness and a story that hasn't been told this way before. Sometimes it got too weird however and it was pretty uncomfortable. Some tropes in this that made you go "really" which dragged the movie down.
Cinematography was well done, also the music worked. Acting was good and it was nice to reynolds portray a pretty great character and he was propably the best part of the movie. The film has some important things to say and does it quite well.
The zany story does however distinguish itself completely which is a good and not really good thing. But its really neat that Marjane Stratapi was brave enough to do this kind of movie and I give her props to that.
