Review of The Voices (2014) by Carlos Z — 16 Dec 2015
A very, very dark comedy to be sure. I have to give credit to Ryan Reynolds here; usually I'm not a fan of his and think he's miscast in a lot of things, but here he knocks it out of the park, great performance.
The direction is also a standout, Marjane Satrapi gets the tone of the film perfectly, and is relentless in the depiction of Jerry.
