The Visitor is a complete exposé of many of the general failures of horror movies in recent years.
Everything you see here has been seen in countless films of that same genre and that's why it feels so exhausting and draining, because there's nothing that can be considered of any real interest.
I mean I know I'm just speaking for myself, but how frustrating it has become to watch movies like this, when not even the simplest elements of its mystery fail to arouse your interest.
