A mystical, science fictional, metaphysical, horrorifical mishmash. A talented cast of notables puts in their time in giving very professional performances in this perplexing and disjointed experience.
Seems like an attempt to throw together a movie that would satisfy fans of all the the sf/horror/spiritual/psychedelic genres which had a following at the time all at one but never settles into a satisfying story of its own.
There's some fun, kooky stuff along the way, though.
