Review of The Visit (2015) by Stalnia — 21 Oct 2015
Definitely a breath of fresh air compared to other films currently in the market. Much praise to the editor for the movie trailer. It was great to see unfamiliar actors which created more mystery as to what was going to unfold.
I was hoping for it to not lead to the typical scary phantom. I was skeptical at first when seeing it was going to be filmed from the perspective of one character but glad when there were surprises to different "perspectives" (don't want to give away anything).
As usual I expected a twisted knowing who the director was and watching many of his films. For those of you who watched lady in the lake...I believe the two main characters were not as crazy as we were lead to believe.
I think that they actually saw the creatures in the water and the two yellow eyes...if it rings a bell to anyone. Its a nice treat for those who have followed this directors work and for those who haven't worth a watch.
