Review of The Visit (2015) by Deathxon — 26 Sep 2015
Normally I hear about M. Night Shyamalan being a very predictable, awful director. Sure, maybe he's made a few bad movies before. The Visit in my opinion is a solid horror movie. Not the best, not the worst, but worth a see definitely.
Maybe I'm being a little biased because it plays to my fears of creepy old people. The actors do a fairly well job, even the kids. Except the boy rapping, I found it cringeworthy at best. Sound is a key part in this movie that make it especially creepy.
This movie has those pesky jumpscares so prepare to **** your breeches and laugh about it afterwards while having a mini heart attack. Overall, it's a horrible movie worthy of a watch even if you're a horror movie elitist.
