M. Night Shyamalan's new venture is far from perfect, but it's without question the best film he's made in a decade. It's a comedy-thriller that is able to offer plenty of laughs and chills in almost equal measure, and it also manages to subvert the found-footage gimmick in a way that suits the film's tone.
