Review of The Visit (2015) by Tyler B — 26 Jun 2016
A decent movie and a better movie than Shyamalan has made of recent. Had an intriguing story and the acting kept my attention just enough. As comes with Shyamalan, the twist was surprising. The atmosphere remained creepy, but for some reason the movie felt average to me.
May have been the Found-Footage approach which never really paid off for me. All in all there is much worse, but it doesn't really take the step needed to be great or separate itself from other average horror-thriller movies.
