Review of The Visit (2015) by Ceracon K — 01 Aug 2016
After hearing that M. Night Shyamalan made another film I had utterly no desire to see it, based off my opinion of his previous works that I didn't care for. However, after hearing a friend sing The Visits praises I decided to give it a try while keeping my expectations low.
I can surprisingly say that this movie was great! From the child actors to the grandparents The Visit is well cast, the actors/actresses have great chemistry together bringing actual laugh out loud scenes mixed with eerily terrifying night scenes, that are so odd and strange it gave me goose bumps.
The Visit is a surprising gem that mixes humor and fear into a well-paced package that I would highly recommend watching.
