The Visit provides horror fans with a deliciously strange Hansel & Gretel-style storyline and a poignant message on forgiveness, but writer-director M. Night Shyamalan's utter lack of conviction fails to make this journey anything more than quirky and awkward -- and ultimately just plain boring.
