The Visit a very good movie one of the best i've seen all year. A little late to the party in this movie this movie has almost been out for 2 years. I really enjoyed this film I liked all the characters, my favorite was Tyler he killed the role.
The only thing I didn't like about him was his rapping which I know was his main thing. I actually thought the grandparents were not bad. "SPOILER ALERT" The weirdest part too me is at the beginning where the mom says she hasn't talked to her parents in 15 years.
She says that they're good people. Too me if you think they're good people why haven't you talked to them for 15 years. My favorite scene of the movie has to be when Tyler trucks pop pop absolutely just slams him in the kitchen.
When they kill the grandparents the story just ends. No questions by the police or by the mom. The grandma is really weird she just runs around the house that's it. O yea and she tries to end her life a lot, yea.
I really liked M. Night Shyamalan as the director in this movie. The way its shot through a camera by the girl trying to make a film or a documentary. Becca's a really interesting character. She's an aspiring young director just trying to get noticed.
One shot she does is when she first gets to the grandparents house its where she just films a swing saying it can be the opening to the documentary but why is Tyler just standing there behind the swing it's just really weird to me.
Another scene is where the grandpa just shit faces Tyler he literally just throws shit on him I don't know why he would do this it has nothing to do to advance the story. Another problem with the movie is when the mom just sends her kids off to go see their grandparents.
She just gets a message saying they want to meet them. She hasn't seen them for 15 years so why would she just send her kids off without knowing they're even still alive. She says she doesn't even pick up their calls so she doesn't know if they're still alive.
