Review of The Village (2004) by Maxime V — 12 Jun 2011
A beautiful love fable full of suspense and emotionally intense. Shyamalan's style is just great: still playing with colors, suspense, symbols such as the heroine's blindness, etc. Fairy tale ingredients set it apart from his other movies.
Great cast to top it off, the whole film being a reflexion on society. Well done M. Shyamalan! (I personally fell in love with Ivy! :P ).
