The Village isn't half that bad when you look at it. It has a good setting, mystery and creepyness that make this director stand out, but along the way the ending twist isn't a surprising as the other films.
Its disappointing that it could have been a lot better that what it is, Although I still find his direction really good this is where his writing began to fall.
