For some reason it's really trendy to hate on M. Night Shyamalan, which is fine because everyone has an opinion but I have personally enjoyed a majority of his movies & The Village is one of them.
I thought it was creepy, very well acted & it's plot was different from any other movie I've seen. Doesn't originality count for something?
