Review of The Village (2004) by Jeremy R — 30 Nov 2012
This is a character based suspense/drama that defies convention and was sorely misrepresented to the public. It is a creative masterpiece crafted with an expert hand, and it is intentionally crafted to be bitter and bothersome.
It is well acted, well constructed, and well developed. A film best enjoyed by someone who might describe themselves as a film connoisseur versus, say, a film critic or a movie buff.
