The issue with "The Village" is that it is inaccurately labelled as a horror film. "The Village" is truly a mystical and suspenseful drama about what people would do for love and peace.
However, while being well filmed and well acted, the third act and unnecessary twist(s) ruin much of the momentum, leaving a bad lasting impression.
