Review of The Village (2004) by Jeremy P — 02 Feb 2014

Saw this for the first time since it was in theaters and I still like it. Seemed like I was one of the few at the time who did. Many of the reviews hated it because of the plot and the surprises that develop, in what used to be a classic Shyamalan formula.

I love the balls of this plot. I love that this story exists. Obviously one of those stories that will seem completely different the 2nd time, which I finally saw first hand. I still think it's good and interesting and upon looking up my old review (I used to type up long ones) I'm surprised I didn't go on about how incredible Bryce Dallas Howard was.
