Review of The Village (2004) by Matthew N — 13 Nov 2015
I loved it. There's a lot of story to go around. THE MUSIC, my God, the MUSIC!! (It was fantastic). JNH is the man. I was captivated by the small elements of the movie that came together in a big way (loss, tragedy, blindness, innocence, naivety, fear).
It explores a lot. And I'm a history buff so I loved the setting. And I'm from PA, and any movie that can make the PA woods look scary is OK in my book.
