Review of The Village (2004) by Jason H — 14 May 2011
I really enjoyed this movie. I already knew the ending when I saw it, but I like the way Shyamalan tells stories. I also liked Lady in the Water, which got bad reviews. I think this film succeeded at presenting a dystopian utopia, and all the problems you can't get away from by just leaving society.
I thought the lead actress was amazing, and I really enjoyed her growth over the film.
