Review of The Village (2004) by Jacob A — 27 May 2011
Before M. Night Shyamalan hit his unusual, unspiried bad streak there was The Village. Undeniably, fantasticly shot, well acted and has a creepy as well as compelling atmosphere with a twist ending that will piss you off but settle deep within you and as you think about it more, the more it becomes clear that this isn't Shyamalan's beginning of his long descent into his bad streak, only him achieving what he has done in several of his other films. Challenge you.
