Outright like Biehn has been living in a 'Terminator'-induced world. When he puts this movie out, it has every bit as equal a punch as the gritty killler-robot series while being instead about dancers and this hapless guy trying to get on with his life without the drama of the antiquated clique of the modern world.

Biehn would seem to be very much a man of the era when film took yet another departure from stale fare as we seem to be going through by following some number of name-brand actores today into formulaic plots and dialogued scripts that should like rehashes of more or less the same fare cut with new scenery.

I thought the film had punch and was rather mod in advancing the issue of how damnably easy to kill someone by accident, so thoughtlessly, in a dump of minimized fortune.

Sure, it might be an "offender" in perpetuating the sale of sex to the masses, but it clearly looks like a product of its time and a rather effective one at that.

I'll leave out the idea that sometimes the characters do a bad job of making sensible decisions. I mean, by the time 'Terminator' was released and 'Navy Seals' on top of that (Biehn's work), war movies were topping out at Viet Nam era fare such as 'Platoon,' which made a number of sensational depictions no less so than what you can see in this one.

All in all, 'Victim' will probably be the last "real man's movie" that you'll see this week due to gaining scarcity. But if you've ever contemplated any soldier battle conflagration scenario or played realistic fighter video-games, you know that life's not always a politically correct proposition, especially when command decides where to send you -- rather than choosing specifically your way. The fact simply does not escape me despite the elements in the overall mix, these being the best and the worst/ of times.
