Pretty much pointless story, more like a Freudian psychological exercise for fathers and sons, and the emo 20-something market. The acting and characters are good enough to drag it along and keep it from being boring too.
Combined with waiting for a story of some sort to eventually kick in, that's about all of interest there is.
