Review of The Vicious Kind (2009) by Dana A — 13 May 2010
Not as funny as I was lead to believe. Pretty decent indie film with a great cast and an average script. A pretty bleak film, with bbleak characters and by the end of the film you really could care less about them and I found myself bored most of the time.
Adam Scott was amazing though, playing a man deeply depressed about his life and his family. Sadly, this movie doesn't have anything to offer to this genre and results in a film greatly dedicated to misery, but offers no tangible reason why anyone outside of the filmmaker should care.
A for effort and Adam Scott but thats about all.
