THE BEST COURTROOM DRAMA OF ALL TIME! One of Sidney Lumet's best films. This film definitely is hard as stone in its ambition, passion, and character. With David Mamet's brilliant screenplay, the film really examines not what is legally right, but what is morally right in a corrupt system of law practice.
Paul Newman really gives an excellent performance in this beautifully executed film about one broken man's last chance at redemption.
