Review of The Verdict (1982) by Mickey S — 10 Jun 2007
The Verdict is a thrilling courtroom drama. (After watching it again recently, I was struck by the desire to become a trial lawyer, which seems startling to me as a future music teacher!) I never grow tired of watching this film and rooting for Paul Newman.
Charlotte Rampling is strikingly vivid and memorable in how she portrays her character's stoic, mysterious nature.
