Review of The Verdict (1982) by Danielle O — 08 Feb 2009

I didnt really like this movie until about an hour in. an hour in, it really started to pick up, and by the end I very much enjoyed it. I could be bias because I love paul newman, but watever. The end was rather confusing but I just took symbolism from it.

something like she became what newman was by choosing to do something so horrible. Also, jack warden blew me away with his acting. also, the fact that the case was about that woman, and we never ever see her face shows who the movie is really about.

its about paul newman's journey instead of about the justice of the woman.
