One of Lumet's very best films. Stunning performance by Paul Newman, in a portrayal that is perhaps the most human film lawyer I have ever seen. Newman isn't the only one to shine as the performances are excellent across the board.
The story is both interesting and relevant and best of all it is frighteningly well told.
