A familiar yet freshly original courtroom drama. the characters are engagingly dynamic and tension drips from David Mamet's dialogue. the story is also excellent because it portrays lawyers, judges, clients, witnesses, etc.
as flawed human beings rather than just stock players in the game of law. great acting, great directing, great writing--a truly solid film.
