Review of The Valet (2006) by Kulsum M — 07 Jun 2007
Francois Pignon is back and it's business as usual. Francis Veber's brilliantly funny Everyman is played this time around by Gad Elmaleh, whose drown-brown eyes and shy posturing are perfect for his interpretation of Pignon.
My favourite Pignon, of course, is in "The Dinner Game." It's great to see so many stellar cast members back from Veber's previous films, and all the hilarious cross-references made in the movie -- especially the one made about "Le Diner de Cons / The Dinner Game.
