My first experience with the famed "French farce". I thought it was cute overall. Funny, zany. But I don't really like how it all turned out. I was hoping Francois would ultimately wind up with Elena for the simple fact that I hated Emilie.
She rejected Francois' proposal point-blank and dissed him. Her friend insulted him, saying he was "nice but pathetic" and she went along with it. The ONLY reason she started liking him was when she believed somebody else (Elena) wanted him.
What kinda vapid B.S. is that? Thus, the ending sucked. Francois deserved more than her.
