Review of The Usual Suspects (1995) by Andrew D — 19 May 2012
Third viewing: dated but entertaining, even if most of the plot doesn't mean much. I may notice more details every time, but I also notice more flaws. The dialogue is corny as well.
The first time I saw this, I hated it because of the cheat of an ending. The second time, I appreciated it more, but it's still not as satisfying as it could be, and it's certainly overrated. It's stylish and Benicio Del Toro is great. Stephen Baldwin is horrible, though.
