Review of The Usual Suspects (1995) by Jon P — 16 May 2012
Slick, enthralling and exquisitely performed, Bryan Singer's devilishly cunning crime thriller is a real must-see. Kevin Spacey is unforgettable in what is quite possibly his best screen role to date and the film is full of fascinating characters and nail-biting suspense.
Singer has managed to conjure up a truly astounding piece of cinema. The movie's meandering, neo-noir narrative is complimented by an atmosphere so ominous, it'll stay with you for days.
