Review of The Usual Suspects (1995) by Neal P — 15 Aug 2013
The Usual Suspects is certainly an unusual movie at times. It may take a while to understand just what the hell is going on for the first 30 minutes or so, but once you understand the underlying plot and the main characters, the intrigue definitely engrosses you into the mystery.
Singer did a solid job of reinventing the wheel--the film's play out wasn't unique, but it's execution certainly had style. This film will leave you thinking and even laughing up till the very end when you have that "ah ha" moment and realize everything that has happened.
