This is the Inception movie of the 90s -.
A brilliant, impressive mystery thriller, with great characters, strong nuanced performances, efficiently written, engaging story and visuals, and solid .
If you are willing to pay attention, this is a goldmine.
And the twist at the end - jaw dropping.
One warning: Do NOT ruin the movie for yourself by watching the last half or end - it is COMPLETELY worth your time to see it with all the surprises intact.
And if you did peek, go ahead and watch the whole thing. The taut direction and juicy details all make this roller coaster ride completely captivating all the way thru.
Keyser Soze is an enigmatic cultural term simply bc of this movie.
