Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Loay O — 07 Jul 2007
A documentary on the life of John Lennon, that focuses on the time in his life when he transformed from a musician into an antiwar activist. You can make reference to the war on Iraq from Vietnam and how history repeats itself. This movie makes you makes you want to take a stand, organize a protest, and demand peace. Understandably slanted to the left politically, it will appeal to the casual viewer quite easily.
The music alone will likely rekindle or begin new memories.
