Review of The Upside of Anger (2005) by Katarina I — 24 Dec 2007
The previews did not do this movie justice. It comes off as a chick flick, and yes it is primarily about women, but it is much more than that. Joan Allen proves (once again) she is one of the best actresses of this generation, with a very real depiction of a woman (perceived) scorned.
Kevin Costner, in his 108th movie as a baseball player, shows us his lack of versatility (once again), although this character is charming, flawed and very likable.
