Kevin Costner won my heart in this movie, probably cause he acts like every boyfriend i've ever had (during the honeymoon phase). sheepish, drunk, and just around to hang...or is it get laid? I can't remember.
Anyway...there is something so wonderful about joan allen, she's pretty and fragile, but strong and stoic. it's killer. plus I like big family movies, especially with daughter. this particular story line is unexpected, and has many twists and turns, but the best surprise is when she slaps down her daughters gross man at the wedding reception.
terrific terry. really a wonderful story, plays out like a novel.
