Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Jackson W — 01 Oct 2011
I have to admit being a bit skeptical at first about The Untouchables, but all in all its a very positive effort. It may be a little too fast paced for its own good, but the plot twists are incredible (including a few notable classic scenes), the acting by Costner and DeNiro are respectfully flawless, and the camera work is exquisite, following the characters every move and giving a crystal clear shot at every chilling aspect of the story.
For a movie that tried too hard to be The Godfather and then some, it didn't have any fatal flaws.
