Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Adam B — 17 Sep 2010
Am I right in thinking the simpsons did an episode spoofing this? Robert De Niro was good as Al Capone (not that he was in it that much) and I loved Sean Connery's character who brought this film to life, but overall I just found this really average.
It's the protagonists who are the main focus of the film which I quite liked, there's already a load of gangster films out there that just go on about what Al Capone got up to. But I don't know what it is about gangster/mob films, I just can't get excited about them.
This in fairness wasn't too bad, I just wouldn't rave about it.
