Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Tony's F — 25 Sep 2010

Untouchables is the Worst Gangster Flick ive seen, and im not Joking at all when I say that. The reasons why I didnt like this Film is becuase it was much to fast Paced for its own good, and the Storyline/ Script and Plot just wasnt that interesting, I was sitting there Bored to death., Another thing that Dissapointed Me in this Film was the Terrible, Loony and Cocky Acting by everyone in it, including the So called "GANGSTERS"., If im wanting to see a Gangster Flick, I than actually want to see some Gangetrs in it, that will make Me say to Myself, " Shit I wouldnt want to Fuck with Those Guys!", instead of Me just Laughing at the Acting On this Film.

Now I will talk about the Music and The Quotes that were used in The Untouchables. The Music that was used throughout this Film Bored Me, well maybe thats what Gangsters listened to in the 30's, I dont really Know haha. Now the Quotes that were used throughout this film were just ridiculous and Corny., especially One scene, where One of the Main Actors ( Kevin Costner ), Pushes One of the Criminals off a building, which than he happens to fall in a Car., And when a Cop or Lawyer I think it was asks ( Costner ) where the Criminal is, ( Costner ) than says the most Lame Quote ive ever heard in any Film and that was... " He's in the Car "!!, Stupid Quotes, Stupid Acting and a Boring Story!, and that pritty Much nearly is everything that I want to be GOOD in a MOVIE.

Im not going to say anything about what happens in Untouchables, but I will talk about some of the Action Scenes. The Action Scenes were way too Over-The-Top, People getting Shot at, bullets Scattering everywhere, People dying after getting shot at 100 times. There is One scene that I laughed at, and the thing Is I dont even think it was supposed to be funny., And this is one of the last scenes I think, and thats the Scene on the stairs. Just Put it like this... Theres a Pram with a Baby in it..., The Pram than falls backwards down from the Top of the stairs, ( Kevin Costner ) tries his best to run after the Pram and try and save the Baby, and this is all while he is being shot at from around 7 or 8 ( Criminals ), and he seems to be dodging every Bullet., Can You see where im heading??, Over-The-Top Action.

PUT IT LIKE THIS- I didnt really have much to say in this review,and thats becuase I didnt really know what to say. "Robert Deniro" who Plays the Legendary "Capone" is only in the Film for 3 or 4 Minutes. I seriously was expecting so much more from this Film, Lots and lots of People are even calling this a " MasterPiece ", and if You think it is than tell Me why. Is it becuase the Acting is Believable,The story and Plot is Clever, or is it becuase the Action Scenes are amazing??, and if it is any of those three things than NO COMMENT.,.

Most Probably everyone will wonder why the hell I gave this such a Bad Rating, But all I can say is.. Why Would I give a Flim a Good Rating If I found every single detail about it Dissapointing??, hell if "Capone" actually did something in this Film than I might of Pushed the Rating Up!. Im not a Brian De Palma hater at all tho, I really enjoyed Carlito's Way and Scarface because they both are Interesting and have Strong Scripts and Storylines and very,very strong and Believable Acting.
