I think by the end of the documentary one realizes that Rumsfeld truly believes in all the double-speaks he's been spewing: when asked why he married, "I know I didn't want to marry, but I also knew I didn't want to marry anyone else".
When asked why he did the interview, "That's a vicious question", he charges, then cops the smile, "I'd be darned if I know." Sigh. Watch it & weep.
