Review of The United States of Leland (2003) by Ryan M — 19 Oct 2007
If you know anything about Gestalt psychology, watch this movie and see if you can apply any of it.
I think of it as an adaptation of The Stranger by Camus. Where as Mersault lacks feeling, Leland feels too much. This film makes me cry every time, but I always feel a little better afterward. Amazing ensemble cast and great soundtrack.
