Very bleak. Very well written at times. VERY good performances by Gosling, Spacey and Cheadle. I felt The US of Leland was too predictable at times though and the plot dragged too long. These complex dramas pertaining to human nature would be a lot better with more juice.
Too dry at times, but definitely recommended mainly for the performances.
