Review of The Ultimate Life (2013) by Robert E — 25 Apr 2015
For all the critics that put this movie down b/c it's a faith based, heartfelt movie, I say get a blow dryer & defrost what's left of your hearts. This is an excellent movie, that doesn't focus on God (like a normal faith based movie), but instead focuses on teaching that family should come before money.
That our legacy isn't about what we can leave behind to our children, but the moral values that we teach them. In society today, kids grow up attached to electronics, & not having much in the way of values.
Lots of them grow up without basic manners, or a true understanding of being moral. They see someone in a movie get their head chopped off or caved in, & it doesn't even bother them. I say we could use more movies like this, even if they are just made for tv, & hosted on the hallmark channel.
At least movies like this, can if we let it help us become better people, better parents, & set better priorities in our life. For anyone that starts calling me a faith nut, I'm not. I just can't stand seeing a good movie being put down b/c you have closed minded individuals, without much personality being the critic, half of which don't even care about anything other then themselves.
