Review of The Ultimate Gift (2007) by Rebekah B — 29 Nov 2017
The Ultimate Gift is a good family movie; it is about, faith, money, and hard work. The acting in the movie was good, and not cheesy, although it is not a very new movie. The main character Jason Stevens (Drew Fuller) is a (spoiled rich kid) adult who has always had everything handed to him.
After the passing of his grandfather Red Stevens, the family gets together for the reading of the will to see what each of the family will inherit. Jason soon finds out that to get his inheritance he will have to go on a journey through a series of 12 gifts.
In the movie, he will befriend a girl named Emily (Abigail Bresin) who is a leukemia cancer patient. Her acting was great and she had me laughing throughout the movie. The main character finds himself seeking his self-worth in money, and soon learns that there is more to life.
This movie has many good life lessons in it, which I find enjoyable in a good film. If you are looking for a good wholesome movie for all ages with a few tears than this is the movie for you.
