The Ugly truth is that this is a bad movie. I wasn't expecting much as these things always follow a formula, use all of the same cliches and generally use these over proper plot and character development.

However the beginning of the movie is quite good. Katherine Heigel is gorgeous and is more engaging than i've ever seen her. Even Gerard outdoes himself, but somewhere about an hour in the cliches kick into overdrive, the plot seems to lose all meaning and the characters return to one dimensional beings and seem to lose conviction in the project as a whole. All in all, deeply unsatisfying.
