Falls under the category of, "funny but wrong".
Definitely not a kids movie. But I don't think it was intended for kids. Actually at some points the humor is a little crude and there is quite a bit of language. It set out to be a funny look at relationships and how Men and Women view those relationships. It succeeds in that goal. Butler and Heigl play off of each other well and, even though Butler's character is crude and abrasive I found myself routing for him to get the girl.
