Review of The Ugly (1997) by Robert B — 17 Apr 2012
While not perfect, The Ugly is a solidly entertaining and twisted piece of serial killer cinema full of twists and turns, psychological revelations, and brutality. The film unfolds through a series of interviews between a psychiatrist and a psycho killer, and the film moves in and our of this present world and brutal memories of the killer, which begin to influence the life of his intrepid doctor as well.
